My parents' house backs onto a library and park with several gyms and pokestops, and they're much happier with gamers wandering around than teenagers getting drunk and vomiting on their back fence!

i have to admit that for the US this makes me sad in theory, because it might end up being yet another way it’s not considered appropriate for people to act like outside in the neighborhood is somewhere they can be

Part of me just wonders if people just don't like it when people have fun that they don't understand. Or they're just too crotchety about having to share what should be common space with other people. In all honesty, an accessible Pokemon Stop is actually a selling point for me re: renting.

(I was very sad when the one that was near my old apartment disappeared. Now I'm in a new apartment and I have one accessible from my apartment again thankfully.)
