 Did anyone else have their account deleted when they installed the update? I tried the signing out of Google in Safari then signing back in through the game workaround I found, but all that did was make me set up a new account.

ETA: trying a different Google account fixes it, if anyone else gets it.

I was hearing that the issue was having multiple google accounts and signing into the right one... Have you made sure you're using the same Google account? I know it sounds basic, but you never know.

Yeah, exactly -- I had to re-sign in with the right Google account for the game (was signed in with my professional account).

It added my Google account to my partner's phone and gave her the option to sign in as either herself or as me, but we deleted the extraneous account and it worked from there.
