Highlight #1: A special pikachu wearing the Ash Ketchum hat from the Pokemon anime series. (Your mod cannot deal with the cuteness.)

Highlight #2: The shop will be selling giftboxes that contain incubators, max revives, ultraballs & raid passes.

I *need* that Pikachu.

I'm disappointed, though. I've been hoarding coins for a while in anticipation of an anniversary sale on something, but I've never had any hope of getting enough to score one of those boxes. At least for the Christmas event they had lesser-priced options.

It's underwhelming. 2 raid passes + 6 incubators normally cost 1100 coins. Who needs to pay extra 100 coins for stuff you can get for free? (I'm swimming in max revives and ultra balls...)
