Today was supposed to be MY poke day, the best day I'd have to walk walk walk those eggs for the extra xp. But HEATWAVE!

How is the event going for everyone?

I've got enough candy for a Typhlosion and a half, but haven't caught any Quilava that are 90% or higher yet; I've gotten forty-five so far, and they're all been in the 80%s or less.

On the plus side, I did finally get my gold Kindler medal, enough candy for a Charizard, more Stardust than I know what to do with, and no fewer than three 90% Houndour, one of which I've even managed to evolve. I'm just slightly bummed about how long it's taking to get that 90% Quilava.

I'm also up to eight Lapras, most of which I am sitting on in anticipation of trading becoming a thing, and only one of which is below 80%.

Still no gold Skier medal yet, but Swinub are fairly common around here even without the event.

I do also wish that Sneasel were more common; my highest is still only in the 80%s, and I'm almost exactly as many Dark types away from the gold Delinquent medal as I am Ice types from the gold Skier medal. Plus I want a 90% of each gender, since they've got a fairly noticeable difference.
