So I got my 7 day streak again today, and I still haven't been able to snag the Evolution Item I need. I've got 3 Sun Stones, 3 King's Rocks and 2 Up-Grades, but not enough candy to evolve the corresponding Pokemons. Yet I have a Scyther, all ready to go, and no Metal Coat!

That is so vexing, isn't it? For the longest time, all I ever got was King's Rocks and Sun Stones. I know it's just random luck, but I got so frustrated that I actually drove to a magnemite/voltorb biome for my last 7-day spin, hoping to get a metal coat. Which, in fact, I did. Which doesn't mean anything, because random. I only wish it were that easy to get what you want.

Even though it's random, I wonder if going to stops one doesn't usually go to shakes things up a bit?

...I've only gotten Sunstones on my seven day streaks except for that one time I got a King's Rock. Supposedly it's random, but I wonder maybe I should wait later in the day and maybe not at the Pokestop outside my building.

Thankfully I've also gotten evolution items outside of the seven day streaks.

That's what I'm wondering, if doing something out of one's ordinary will make it catch differently.

I think one or two of mine might have been random, outside of the streak. I don't quite remember. But it's been a long while.

I have four upgrades (and one metal coat!), and nowhere near enough candy to use either, so I feel your pain!

I've been quite lucky, I've got half a dozen items I've been able to use all of. But I'm still waiting for a second metal coat and a second kings rock to evolve the other species, and when I need a particular one, I fear the streaks are going to feel very tedious.

The streaks are a bit tedious, but for the fact that my next xp up is 25, so I'm looking forward to that.

I've gotten 2 kings rocks & a dragon scale, but I'm still collecting candy to use them. What I want to a sun stone or two because I have the candy to those!

I know, right? I was with my 8 y/o nephew on Sunday, which was 7-day-streak day for both of us, and we both got exactly the evolve item the *other* person needed, which was so frustrating! I wonder if we'll ever be able to trade items (or, you know, Pokemon...)

I wish we could trade- I have four Metal Coats and around 123 Sunkern candy. Also several King's Rocks but not enough Pollywag candy. So frustrating. (I've started trashing Upgrades...)

Heyyy! Happy to see you here! I actually got my metal coats! Just in time for the rock event. I was able to evolve my scyther and onix!

I only have 30 pollywag candy :/

I'd be too nervous to trash any of the items. But since I don't battle, I have room in my bag.
