So I started with Squirtle (... as always), hatched a Charmander in fairly short order then found a place Charmanders like hanging out near work, and last week hatched a Pikachu from a 2km egg.

... Bulbasaur is my second-favourite starter Pokemon and is missing from that list, about which I was very frustrated -- except I'm visiting a friend this week and SAW MY FIRST BULBASAUR just outside their house.

... whereupon I fed it a Razz Berry and threw an Ultra Ball at it and it ran away.

... the second one that appeared in the same spot did a similar thing.

... by the time the third one appeared in the same spot I decided I was probably camped on top of a Bulbasaur spawn point, and so far I have caught four and had another two run away from me, and firmly intend to spend the rest of the week saving up. :D

Bulbasaurs are WEIRDLY difficult to actually CATCH, I've found. I haven't the foggiest clue why. But spawn points are the BEST. XD

I am still lacking a Pikachu and this saddens me. There's basically only water Pokemon in Leuven (or in Belgium in general, as far as I can tell) and it was pretty much the same in Dublin. Aaaah.

I am still hoping for a Charmander to hatch. I have had no luck despite hatching all my 2km eggs as soon as I can. And good luck with finding fire Pokemon here. We are very watery. The only starter I've seen in the wild is Squirtle with the occasional Wartortle. Though I think I've seen Bulbasaur on the radar.

(I need to find some good areas to hunt in that have rock/ground, fire and lightning Pokemon tbh.)

Bulbasaurs are cranky little buggers! My area is rich in grass Pokemon, so I have had a few of them, but they run away more than anything else!
