Also, level 23 - favorite pokémon: Snorlax & Wigglytuff - favorite thing to do in PokeGo: walking to hatch eggs - I got into PokeGo because... A bunch of my friends started playing. They had played the previous games, but my main exposure to the franchise was a few episodes of the anime. But everyone was talking about it, so I figured I should give it a try and see what all the fuss was about. Ironically, it appealed to my love of physical activity and exploring new places.
let me tell you about myself! - other fandoms: I mostly run around in the anime & manga fandoms. Currently, I'm into Thunderbolt Fantasy (it's a wuxia puppet show), Gangsta, and sports series -- I'm looking forward to Haikyuu's third season next month and I am basketball trash (Kuroko's Basketball) forever. - other interests: Yoga, gardening, cooking, and discovering new hole-in-the-wall places that serve delicious food. I also love reading, although I'm in a bit of a reading slump at the moment. And, of course, writing! I'm currently a freelance writer. In terms of stuff I can talk about, I contribute to sites like Women Write about Comics and MyAnimeList. I was also a regular contributor to Panels but now that the site has shut its doors, I'm joining the crew at Bookriot. And I review books at Foreword Reviews. - contents of my journal: A mix of everything -- real life, fandom, and everything in between.
