Cute story time

I have not just permission, but encouragement from the participants to share this story, so I hope you all enjoy it :)

So about a week and a half ago, my brother proposed to his then-girlfriend/now-fiancee. They went to the local raptor center, watched birds of prey doing their thing, and then my brother got down on one knee by the lake and asked his sweetie to marry him.

She said yes, which is great, because she's a really fantastic person and they're great together - but this is clearly not related to Pokemon GO, so I'll move on.

My brother said he'd had bigger plans and intentions to make a more grand proposal in the near future, and his fiance said no, it was her turn this time.

So she went to a local candy store and tracked down the nearest equivalent to my brother's favorite candy from Ireland (he visited a few years ago), and bought twelve pieces. She then presented him with these (plus a ring) and asked if he would like to evolve from boyfriend to fiance.

Needless to say, I am sharing the story with everyone who I think will appreciate it ;)

I approve of this plan. Failing that, a giant pile of them at the reception afterwards would probably work.
