PokeGo couplets of sadness

I composed these in my head during my commute home while futilely hoping for new Pokemon. Oh well, at least I don't lack for Pokestops?

Drowzees, Drowzees everywhere
But not one Ponyta to spare

Squirtle candies I hoped to get
Yet Rattatas are all I've met

Pidgeys flocking in every green
And still no Eevee to be seen

Snorlax, your passing shadow haunts me
Tauros, are we never meant to be?

My last 2km egg betrayed me with a flopping fish
Until I looked at the CP & realized this is my greatest wish

All I need is more magikarp candy
And then I'll just be dandy

i have never even seen a snorlax shadow, which is probably for the best because if i did see a shadow, i'd run around like a roadrunner until i'd gotten it

The totally sad part is that I did! I ran out of my house, looking for it. This was even when the tracker was functional. But alas.

But alas, had no more Pokeballs to throw...

i've lost so many pokemon this way. i've literally wasted 20+ pokeballs on ONE POKEMON. this game is HARD when you have no pokeballs to throw

I had time to hang out at a PokeStop and stock up today. And also I have gotten raspberries? Which supposedly you feed to the Pokemon to make them easier to catch? Only I fed THREE to a Beedrill and it kept escaping and it still took me at least seven Pokeballs to catch it. But...I did catch it! Eventually, lol.

RAZZBERRIES WORK

from what i've gathered, pokemon are hard or easy to catch based on your current level and their combat power

so if i see a pokemon that's at a much higher combat power than my current average wild pokemon's combat power, i just throw a razzberry at it as a precaution and it's helped me so far

also you have to feed them razzberries one at a time. unless they break out of the pokeball, in which case, yeah feed them another one because the previous one has run its course
