Mod note: Like many people who use Gmail as their provider, my comment notifications have been delayed. In fact, I'm not sure I've received any since yesterday. I am still getting inbox notifications here on DW, but obviously I'm not on DW all the time. So if there's a pressing issue that needs to be addressed immediately, hit up my Tumblr askbox. I caved and downloaded the app yesterday since everyone seemed to be having so much fun. I went for my first walk around my super-in-the-middle-of-nowhere edge-of-town suburban neighborhood and still caught a bunch of Pokemon! *_____* The great thing about being low-level (?) is that almost everything is new! I'm sure this too will pass.

Have not spotted any of those bat-things, though...

My experience is that about the time that catching everything is New and Shiny it becomes actually shiny to do things like focus on levelling up, or poking at gyms, or finding evolves/hatching eggs. So that's nice.
