I was wondering about Buddy species and likely-hood of catching things - tricky to tease out confirmation bias from the many variables involved. I've definitely heard people say that where you pick up eggs affects what hatches, so it might be logical that you might catch a Vulpix and pick up a Vulpix-containing egg in the same area, but I don't know if that's truth or myth! (I would like to believe that my Lampras came from the egg I picked up at the Natural History Museum, so I want it to be true!)
