New hatches: Voltorb (exciting! Electric mon are so rare here so I was thrilled)
I've adjusted my gym strategy. I now specifically look for friendly gyms to level up and leave a mon, preferably in a high position. This gives me enough time to hit up as many gyms as possible before collecting my daily bonus. With the kids having gone back to college, this is more possible than before. (No more getting kicked out a gym 10 minutes later.) I'm also scoping out gyms that tend not to turn over as quickly for whatever reason -- GPS issues, not as much foot traffic -- and getting familiar with gyms at the local parks in preparation for the coming winter, haha.
