I get that they're trying to curb the cheater problem, but this seems quite wrong-headed of them. Plenty of people use rooted phones for legit reasons and I'm quite positive plenty of cheaters don't need rooted phones at all! I actually don't see how this would curb the cheater problem. All it'll do is penalize legit players.
